So today is day one of our reno adventures. It took all day for us to clean 2 bedrooms and the study!! And we are EXHAUSTED!! We knew we were getting ourselves into a lot of work and we knew the new house was dirty - we just didn't realise quite how grotty it really is!!
For those that don't know me.... There is me, my partner D and my son J and our dog - we just sold our first house and have bought a new one. The new house is a big time renovation project but we think it would be great to give it a go and have an adventure. I will post pics later so you can see what I mean.
After the things we have seen and done today I thought it would be a great time to start a blog and share our adventure with others - good bad and ugly!
So to give you an idea of the house, today when I went to clean the main bedroom, there was a vine type plant that was growing up the wall ... INSIDE!! It had come though the window and kept on growing up the wall.
So I have plenty more adventure stories to share but right now I NEED to go to bed so I can get up and do it all again tomorrow.
